Slowly and slowly, Sony has been coming back as a force in the next gen console wars. Always there were Wii's selling all over the place and Xbox 360's flying off shelves for the "exclusives", Well my friends, PS3 has its own hero and he is back, Nathan Drake and not only is he back but he is giving a reason why those wii or 360 owners should cry. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is a game brought to you by Sony and Naughty Dog productions. This third person action-adventure game feels like an amazing movie where your literally being in so close to the grips of death in every level. I loved the first one, so much that when I received both Uncharted and Assassin's Creed I was easily torn from the Creed and into the treasure hunting. I mean the original game, had amazing graphics for only coming out a year after PS3 did. Then not only was it good then, the new game is pretty much pure amazement. The sound is incredible, the graphics are ridiculously good, the storyline just gets better and better and much more.
You start off on a train that is hanging off a cliff and you are bleeding all over yourself. You start to climb up and you finally get to safe ground until your lifted into a flashback. As you play the game you start from how you got to the train and how you end up after. It has a begging, a middle and an end. Now not only does it offer you a movie like game, but it gives you game play that is just hard to top. Now you 360 fans and Wii fans are probably not gonna buy what I say, because you have your Halo and Smash Bro's but I am telling every single gamer our there, this game has probably the best graphics for a game this year. What really made this game was the amount of solid action scenes and the powerful story. You have new enemies, old and new friends, and some really weird people. You go from Borneo to Tibet. I mean this game had such good graphics that the creators stated that this game cold never play on a 360 because the amount of space on the game disc is all used up, all 25 gb's of blue ray!
Overall, Uncharted offered me more than just an amazing storyline, loads of extras, cool weapons, incredible cut scenes and even multi player! It game me the strength to have power in Sony, a system that should never be overlooked. The only issue I had with Uncharted was the one or two glitches here or there and one cut scene had graphics that weren't up to par to the others. So for my final rating, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves get 5X out of 5. Watch for this game to compete for game of the year with other top dogs. But if I had to choose a game of the year right now, it would be Uncharted 2. This game is out now and is exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
